Facing the week.

I don't feel very motivated today. Until I get my next fill which is two weeks from today, I think I 'm going to be in a frustrating holding pattern. I'm having a very hard time "dieting" which is what I need to do since I'm so hungry. I did an excellent job M-Th last week, then it all fell apart over the weekend.

 

This is just another bump in the road that I need to get through. It will be extra tough this week because I travel W-F. I will have to really focus on making good choices.

 

It's intersting that when it comes to exercise, i can make all sorts of good choices, but when it comes to food, I can be so horrible. Baby steps, Beth. Right now I will focus on my exercise AND making sure that I don't sabatoge myself on the food side. In two weeks, I will have more help.

I think we have all felt under motivated, but you have been doing so well. Don't give up on yourself - you can continue to do this with or without the fill. You know what you should be eating, how much exercise you should be doing and how much fluids to drink. So just do it, as they say in all of the Nike commercials. Get back to the basics - no grain, no carbs, until your next fill and you will be amazed at how well you will feel about yourself. I have total faith in you - I know you do too. Take care, my friend. You derserve it.

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
