Making the choice to do the lap band is something I have agonized over for years. After finally making this choice I can say it's an educated one. I have fought with obesity since I could walk. And I am so ready for this it is not even funny.

 

On December 31, 2010 I paid the 500.00 deposite for lab band surgery. This was commiting to the surgery, the other 4,500 will be paid on the surgery day. This after noon, Sue the travel leason called me to discuss my travel plans. My husband Scott, our 1 year old son by then Miles and My self will be flying to San Diego, California from El Paso, Texas on March 13, 2011. We have not choosen a hotel to stay at that night so that is still to be arranged. Something Scott and I will choose here very shortly. But yay for getting to make the travel plans, and of course actually scheduled for surgery.

Congratulations! It is an agonizing choice, but once it is made and you are on you're way, you will see how "doable" it is. It makes obesity fightable! :) I have also been overweight/obese most of my life. I'm finally feeling normal! It had to take a Lap Band to do it, but I do not mind for a second. I'm very happy! Well once you get banded and start dropping the weight..just think how much easier it will be to chase your son it will be. I have just lost 130 lbs. and I have a 3 yr old son. I still can't keep up with him every day (I wish they bottled all that energy) but at least I can catch him most of the time where as before I couldn't even get up off the floor to even try to run after him! LOL

      Xbox And Exercise - Kickboxing

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
