2nd fill

I just had my 2nd fill this past Saturday. I am feeling the restriction now. The doctor told me not to eat anything with white flour, white rice, and carbonated drinks because it will expand my new pouch.

So I've changed my diet. Today I ate popeye's chicken. I ate one leg and it was good!!! After I ate it my chest started hurting and I had a hard time breathing, omg what happened? is this normal? I'm not eating any more!

my guess - You ate too fast or didn't chew it enough??? If it continues I would get in to see your Doc.

I go for my first fill tomorrow - YAY...I've been without restriction for 4 weeks now (only gained 4 pounds back)...Looking forward to it.

I had that a lot after my second fill. I learned to eat real slow and chew...chew....chew. I know even with my first fill that I could still eat pretty normal bites. Trust me I didn't eat as much but I could still take my regular bites. However, once I had my second fill I threw up for 2 weeks. Let's just say that it took me a while to learn. I now know to eat a little bit...chew..chew...chew. Then, I need to wait about 7-10 minutes before eating more. It is working and I am learning to work with my band. However, if I wait until I am too hungry, I end up eating too fast or taking too big of bites and getting sick.
