Hi Seneca,

I live in Canada and our insurance sucks as far as being able to have the Lap Band covered so I am a self pay and was banded by Dr. Joya in PV Mexico on Nov 17th , 2010 and I would have not done it anywhere else! I had the best experience with him and his staff and I took a GF with me (no leave left for my husband) who also was banded by him 1.5 years ago (lost 98 lbs) and he was so excited to see her!!! If you would like you can PM me and we can talk more...BEST experience yet!!!

May I ask how much it cost? I am also self pay. I weigh 173 and I am 5 ft tall. I am so sick of this weight battle. Tired of going to fat dr for diet pills that dont work.
