I had surgery in March. I have lost 70 lbs. I have made all my required appts but after this last fill, I seem to be throwing up a lot - is this common? It is getting very frustrating and I am getting tired of eating only soft foods or soup. Anyone have any advice? :bored:

Yes, it happened to me too. Chew slower and take smaller bites and if you start to get an acid taste get an unfill ASAP.

You may need to eat less and not as much at one meal I had to break my meals into two. This is so the foods would stay down. You really do not want to be throwing up all the time. This is not how the band is suppose to work. I have had three un fills over a course of time. Nothing wrong with fine tuning the band. Best wishes and I hope this helps. You may be getting closer to your sweet spot. imaluckydog

This is very common when your band is to thigh!! I know we use to think the tighter the better it is for us, but it's not. My first fill was to much and I had to have some taken out, I had a unfill, 2 times in my 1st year. So if you are throwing up a lot after eating, and you are eat small amounts, chewing your food well and waiting before every bite, then you need a unfill. Just have a small amount taken out loosen the band some. All the best and take care.
