I think that I am getting a hang of this....

I finally feel like I am in control...2 days ago, I thought I was going to eat everythnig in the damn house! Back to basics! Protein shakes, vitamins and water! I still feel hunger, but it is manageable. I have been walking a whole lot more. I take three 20-30 minute walks a day, and I think that I am seeing a change in how my clothes fit! YAY! So I am day 15 post op and can't wait for this weight to come off. I feel better already and I am down 25 lbs since July! Not a ton of weight, but I will take it! The damn scale is stuck....that is the most frustrating part...I need to throw that damn thing in the garbage! Maybe I will! Today is going to be a good day!!!!:smile2:

Way to keep positive! Some days it does seem those stupid scales get stuck, but just keep doing the right things and it WILL move!

You are doing so well! I put the scale in the garage -- I was addicted to the stupid thing and let a number rule my emotions. Trust me, our new life just keeps getting better and better..........

Sandradee is so right on...if the scale is controlling our emotions we need to throw the scale away or at least put it somewhere we can't put our hands on easily. We need to stay positive..so when you can put on a pair of pants or a shirt that you haven't been able to wear and it puts a smile on your face..then go with that as your result for the day. It isn't always losing a pound or even an ounce that counts as a measurement!!! Stay and think positive thoughts and stay on track..you will prevail!
