My stomach is a huge problem I believe that if my stomach went down I would go down almost two sizes. My personal trainer says that the stomach is the last thing to go is this true or is he just trying to keep me around.

Cardio is the key to your stomach going down...... Some people have weak muscles in their stomach and it is HARD as heck to get these muscles to behave.

I have had three personal trainers and they all say the same thing!!! Don't give up!

I have found this to be true depending on what body type you are. I am more pear shaped so my butt and thighs are the last to go. If you are apple shaped you will lose it last in your belly.

I never had a belly before I turned 40. Even morbidly obese at 35 I had like a 25 inch waist. Wierd. This time around? Quite the opposite. My belly/ab area isn't going down as fast as my legs, face and the proverbial boobies. I do 1000 situps on a balance ball throughout the day, and although I see changes there is a long way to go. I have a trainer too, and he agrees with your trainer. Core/abs are tougher.

I agree with Rhonda, I'm pear shaped and my chest and abs are the first things to go...behind and thighs really have to work on.

A couple of years ago I lost 50 pounds and experienced the same thing, the person I was working with explained that the hands, arms, shoulders, legs, etc. would show the loss first and it would take longer for the "core" to show it . . .and that's exactly what happend then and is happening again now with my band weight loss . . . best wishes . . keep up the good work!
