I watched this documentary today on Netflix/On Demand: "KILLER AT LARGE: Why Obesity is America's Biggest Threat"... I was shocked to hear that the kid's meals at places like McDs & BK is actually the serving size that is recommend for an ADULT!!! :thumbup: and the Adult meals/combos are enough to feed a whole family!!! :cool2: OMGosh!! then people "Super Size" that???? WOW!!! :) no wonder America is Overweight!! (to include myself).... fortunately I dont like McDs at all and I seldom visit BK....

I hear you!!!! I have not seen it but I will that is for sure. Have you seen Food Inc.??? it is another excellent food story we need to keep each other up to date on all these documentaries. Thanks imaluckydog

I had heard this a while back, and it is true, we even got supersized too! LOL, we always want more bang for the buck, and they know we are hungry so why not? Fries are so good, but they are the reason we have severely clogged arteries! Heart attack and strokes are the number one killer of women. My friend just passed away at age 56, she had only had a gastric bypass about three years ago and looked wonderful! She had clogged arteries and it was massive. Even though we are losing weight and getting healthy, lets not forget to get regular checkups with our doctors, to check on the damage that may have already been done! Miss her terribly and she was so beautiful, and so happy she was smaller, she had even bought a Harley and learned to ride and loved it!

      Xbox And Exercise - Kickboxing

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
