4 more days till my "b" day!!

I've still been doing pretty well with the liquid diet, praise God! I wasn't sure how I was going to get through the two weeks of liquids only!! But it hasn't been horrible.

I'm going to the gym today again. Going to kick my butt for another hour this afternoon! the other day I went swimming afterwards and somehow I think that helped to avoid any muscle aches the next day! (Might be a good idea to try that today as well if I have time.)

I've been working on this project for work--writing a photography guide for on-location work. I have set my goal to have it DONE by tomorrow even though it's technically not due till next week. Frankly, I don't want to have to worry about work stuff right away after surgery! As it is, next Thursday I've been asked to shoot a lady in a bunch of vintage dresses. We'll see if I'm up to it...I'm really not sure how I will feel next week.

Thankfully I am able to stay with a friend the night of the procedure and then come home the next day. I've also gotten some EXCELLENT advice from some people that have gone thru the procedure.

So back to work...I have to get this guide done before the weekend so I can relax (and clean my place more) before Monday--my "b" day!

Blessings!

LAP-BAND Patients

Your probably not going to feel like walking and moving around after your surgery, but it really does help relieve some of that gas pain. I think because I did move around and walk a good amount I didn't experience the shoulder gas pain, which from what I hear is the WORST!

Today has been a better day for me then the other 2 so I'm praying that it just keeps getting easier from here because I have to go back to work on Saturday.

Best of luck to you!

I'm glad you mentioned photography, because I was a little concerned about the poor lady in the vintage dress that you are going to shoot! :)

Keep up the great work!

LAP-BAND Patients

My soreness left on the fifth day after banding, I was walking back and forth in my driveway every morning too to relieve the gas and pain, get some Gas-X you will be glad you did. Get a body pillow if you don't have one, you will sleep better rolled into it too. Also have some small pillows while you are sitting to hug and you sit down and get up as to not pull the port lose. It is stitched in place and that is why you have the pain there more. It was one week before I went back to work. God Bless You and Keep You!
