My rant for the day

Why is it some people think that once they get the band that they can eat whatever they want and it will lose the weight for them? Did these people not pay attention during the eval process or better yet how the hell did they get through the eval process?

It was not an easy decision for me to decide to do this and I do not take it lightly. I knew I would have to change everything about my eating once I had this band placed. I am not perfect but I sure as hell don't expect it to lose the weight for me.

It is a tool people! You have to make healthy food choices and exercise!

LAP-BAND Patients

Thank you for posting this, I really get annoyed when I begin to read some of these post. How in the hell are you expecting the band to work if you are non-compliant, not counting your calories and eating way to many starches. I was banded on March 19th and am down 31 pounds because I follow my doctors guidelines yes I have splurged a little with a slice of cake but it is not often. Let's stay positive and work with our BANDS.....it is a tool!!!! Oh and I do exercise too.
