Fellow Banders, I had my LAP-BAND® on April 14, 2010. The day of surgery was the worst. Not so much the pain from the procedure but the severe nasua and headache from the anesthia. I did great as far as the surgery went. I had my surgery at a little after 10 am and was up and around well enough to get my Upper GI by 4pm and was attempting clear liquids shortly after. I could only take a few sips. but no problems. I was able to go home later that day. I did end up developing a migrain later in the night and had to resort to my Imatrex...Then slept and when I awoke all was right in my world.

I should have started this sooner but better late than never:wink2:

I am one week post op now and doing great with my full liquid diet...getting my protein in with Isopure ..great stuff...50 gms of protein in 2 scoops...:) I'm down 11.6 lbs already..yeah I know most of that is fluid shifts but i'm still very happy. This has been a great experance so far. I look forward to your support and giving it back in return.

Think this is going to be a big help to the arthritis pain in my back...Yeah for my
