getting easier

As each day goes by and I don't look at the scale it gets easier and easier. I am back on track in so many ways and not jumping on the scale every day makes it easier to stay positive and believe that the weight is just dropping off. O.K, like most things the downside will be when I do finally get weighed if I'm no where near where I want to be, but then I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. For now it's absolutley the right thing for me to do.

I have avoided eating with others quite well but we have a family meal (out) tonight and I haven't decided what to do. I think I will go for company but not eat anything. As much as anything else, it's bound to be after 9pm and I don't like eating so late. Last time I tried meat so late, it got stuck...didn't pb but was touch and go. Don't want to be in a situation where I'll possibly pb a) in public with no near bathroom (we're talking tiny Greek taverna here) and b)with people who don't know about my band. Sooooo, I'll eat before we go out and just sit with my water...

Walked half an hour this morning with no problems and should be able to do the same again this afternoon. Got more than half my water in for day and it's only 1:30pm so doing well. Am gonna go and read a while and have a Greek siesta (welllll why not eh?).

See ya over the weekend.

Good for you not weighing so much it makes you crazy! Where you weigh in a month's time is where you ARE - we set goals - try for them - when we don't meet them - we just move on to tomorrow eh? lol

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
    • I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️

      Einarmige Banditen
