Some times I really hate that scale!!!!

I said I would not panic when my year started to approach and I was not at my goal of 100 pounds loss (I am an 77 loss) I said I would be grateful for how healthy I am now and that I have lost several sizes. I have lost 40 inches on my body, between 3-4 clothing sizes, off all blood pressure meds, no longer borderline diabetic, no longer have high cholesterol etc. but here I am the scale will not move and I am feeling a little down. I cant recall the last week or even month the little sucker moved. Not even a pound. Please dont think me not grateful. I am so blessed I just want this other 27 pounds off do you hear me OFF AND GONE!!! I am walking 2 miles a day, eating healthy, feeling like I am doing all the right things but the body is a funny thing. My year is May 28. I REALLY want to be at my goal by then. Besides a fast, (lol) any suggestions?

You are doing great! I don't weigh very often and that helps me emotionally. My weight loss is not going very fast but it is going and that's more than I can say for the past. I have lost 45 lbs in eight months and have at least that to go. I had hoped to be at 90-100 lbs at one year but I now know that's not going to happen. This journey has been very comfortable for me though, so it's ok that it is not exceptionally fast. Keep walking and keep up the good work.

I have to admit I am awful about weighing. I used to weigh every time I was in the bathroom. No joke. Now I am much better. I weigh in the am and at Night. Still awful I know. I am some what obsessive. Just terrified I will gain the weight back I guess. Thanks for the encouragement and God bless. Mechelle

Hi, I think your doing great and just fine, relax and think about the basics of getting the lapband, liquids. For a day or so just go back to liquids then resume your current plan. I have weighted myself every morning and my weight has kept at one point for two weeks, then all of a sudden it began to drop. Rem when your body changes back to muscle, you still have the weight, but now it's muscle-you are beginning to change so take your time and stay positive. I have had 3 fills, and will probably get my 4th on the 24th of Apr 10. I have been holding off to see if I could do this myself-still trying--some success but think one more fill will do it for me. I currently have 6ccs in a 10cc band. Anyway I think your just fine, hang in there and it will come. You have already reached a remarkable goal. Remember the end is in sight, it is attainable. Best wishes and luck on your journey. Your almost there!
