Feeling very frustrated

262 that's where I have been stuck and now a week after my fill still stuck there. I watch what I eat, my portions are small and nothing is happening.

Then I get home and my insurance paid $1,000 of the surgery they pre approved leaving me with a bill for $25,000.

Feeling a huge amount of regret for having this surgery. It's not working and now my insurance is pulling the rug out from under me.

I was so excited to have this done, lost the 15 pounds I was required to and the day of surgery I weighed 270, so since surgery I have lost 8 pounds. My surgery was Feb 8 here we are March 20.

I signed up for the process because it was slow and and I had to work at it as well but seriously 8 pounds in 6 weeks? Those 8 pounds were in the first week, nothing since then. I go to the gym 4-5 days a week and work out for an hour. This is how I felt before my surgery, no matter what I did it didn't work, with surgery no matter what I do it doesn't work.

This sucks!!!!

Don't give up! Your just getting to the good part. I gained weight between the surgery and first fill. I promise that once you start getting restriction it will be easier. Plus your Dr office will help you with the insurance co. they are just being silly. I am going for my 4th fill Monday, today is my 5 month anniversary. I felt exactly like you do now, $10K for a failed diet but that is not what it was, my stall was temporary. You can do it, I promise.

Shannon, it is so important that you look forward to tomorrow with no regrets. Many of us have set backs and feel frustrated - you are not alone. Everyone is different and loses at a different rate. Have you considered keeping a food diary so that you can see what foods you eat on good weeks, maybe that can help. As far as the medical bill is concerned, fight it- if it was pre-approved they should be taking care of it - sometimes we just need to go through the stressful process. I too, am starting to get bills that don't make sense, but hey they can't take blood from a rock and if I do get stuck paying it will be little by little.
