Day 4

Hi all

Well surgery went fairly well, it took 3 hours, I had my spleen removed several years ago and so they had to take care of all the scar tissue and then I also had a hiatal hernia they repaired. I came home the next day and have been lying low ever since. Drinking my protein shakes and sugar free jello. Yesterday I had chicken broth and that tasted good. I'm not finding myself hungry so having to remind myself to drink. Overall feeling really good, the gas pains from them blowing me up so big are hard and painful but getting better. I woke up this morning better able to move without a lot of pain and just feeling better.

I go to my other doc tomorrow for some post op blood work it will be good to get out and about a bit.

Thanks for all the support and kind words. I haven't stepped on the scales yet but day of surgery I weighed 270 which was down 19 pounds from my required pre op weight loss of 15. That felt good! So 100 to go! That's my first goal, we will see where I'm at then and where I want to go.

Be well all
