My Plateau

I am slowly getting more and more frustrated. I guess I am spoiled because the first 85 lbs. came off so easily. Now it seems to just have come to a halt. I have gotten lazy and have stopped counting calories, carbs, fats and protein and I just eat whatever my family is eating, just a small portion of it. That worked before, but is obviously not going to work for these last 30 lbs. I have started strength training at the gym, but no, I haven't been at it long enough for it to have put on any muscle yet.

 

I've been at the same weight for about a month now and I'm getting frustrated. I have got to get motivated to start counting calories, etc. on Sparkpeople.com again. It really helped me before.

 

Well, I have to get up at the crack of dawn, so I better get in bed. Good night all!

I have gotten lazy with the counting food every day too, down 64 lbs and stuck. I use Lapband.com for the food count, they have a new JOURNEY on there that also lets you track Mood, weight, etc. Moods do affect our daily intake of food. I heard that people who write down what they eat every day lose weight 50% faster than those who don't.

I feel like I 'wasted' three months thinking I was eating small portions and then wondering why my weight stayed the same!As soon as I started writing it all down two things happened:

1. I saw how bad I had been eating compared to now!

2. I lost weight!

Good luck girl, its a long slow process of learning!
