I hear ya! I FORCE myself to go to the gym 3 days a week and hit the treadmill... I havent lost nearly as much as you have, but when I run, the fat that hangs from my belly jumps up and down! Its HORRIBLE! Well.. in retrospect, i'm just glad it isnt touching my thighs anymore! Hahaha! Ugh.

Good skin doesnt run in my family. My mom lost 75 lbs a few years ago and turned into a giant wrinkle. My neice had her baby and lost all baby weight PLUS some and her tummy actually looks like the pooch you have above! AND SHE IS ONLY 23!!!

Everyone always asks me what i'm going to do about all the excess skin I will have and my answer is always, I'll worry about when I have some!

Congratulations on your move to MOVE. Its hard to make that decision and actually do it (when I was at my biggest, I use to lay on the couch and THINK about excersizing!). I'm proud of you!

Oh, BG you are too funny! I just can't stop giggling myself. But I'd do anything to have that jiggle of which you speak instead of the flabbery-ness I still have.

So maybe calisthenics for a little while? I guess we call that pilates nowadays... I know that won't solve the skin - but it might evade the jiggle...

I remember when I got my first wetsuit it was very tight everywhere and I really looked like a fat seal (it was black, but NOT slimming!!)....I think that would hold everything in really well but you would be sweating like a hog and then it would be hard to get off!!!

Anyway, congrats...to jiggle is to succeed in this game!

What? I'm not supposed to look at my batwings and say, "Well, at least I don't need a parachute! I'll just glide home!"? (giggling)

Band Groupie: Last May in your blog you wrote about your "Ah Ha" moment and what your new lifestyle would and would not include. I just need to tell you that when I read that I thought it was exactly how I wanted to use this tool. I printed it and keep it handy to read - it was such an inspiration to me and kept me going all those presurgery months. Now that I've been banded I still read it and really want you to know how much you inspired me.

PD- Oh wow...I'm not sure which one it was, but I hope I'm fulfilling that lifestyle I wanted now?! So glad it helped you! -BG

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
