I am so sorry you feel so bad. you need to get your butt into the doctor it really isnt anything to play with, seriously people die from the flu both regular flu and also from swine flu and with you eating so much less, you have less to fight off illness with., Please take this seriously. I am in healthcare and I worked with a lady several years ago whose 27 year old healthy daughter didnt take the flu seriously... her husband took her to the er when she couldnt hold her head up they came out (he of course half expected them to say she was pretty sick and would have to stay a few days) they said we are so sorry we couldnt save her. She left behind two little kids. Take care of yourself, if not better soon, get to immediate care or er if you have to it's not worth the risk. Praying for you tonight, Mechelle

i'm sorry you feel so crappy. not a fan of the flu shot myself......last time i got one i had to sit on the toilet with a trash can infront of me. bad, bad things happened that week. not even sure if i remember all of them. 8) i guess i'm just one of those people that the flu shot reacts really funny with. i hope you get better soon and we're all thinking about you and wish you well. *hugs for bg, don't worry, i'm wearing my pig sickness surgical mask* ;p hope to hear from you again soon.

Oh BG, the flu in addition to a bladder infection! Wow, I feel your pain. I am surprised that you had any energy to write as much as you wrote. This is the time to let others take care of you, (which it sounds like your husband is doing) REST, REST and more REST. We are all thinking of ya. Barbara

ps. I got my flu shot last month, but not the H1N1, its still not available for general population in southern CA. just for children and other high risk groups IE....pregnant women.

Wow I hope you're already feeling better...a piece of unsolicited trivia...when you have a viral infection (like flu) the virus is actually living in your muscles and replicating itself...thats why you have body aches and even pain when you use your eye muscles!Ew!

Up and down a lot last night still, but I slept better late morning (didn't wake up until 10:30 wow) and now the fever is finally under control. I feel so much better. Thanks for all the 'get well cards'! Sorry for the whinefest...I just felt like a mess that day.

Virus in my eye muscles...ewww! -BG

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
