Today was the day!!!!!

I had my lap band surgery today!!!! I went in at 10:30, Surgery at noon, and home by 7:00 pm. apparently, I had to spend 3 hours in recovery due to my blood pressure dropping a little low.....they gave me IV fluids and that did the trick. I have some pain, but not too bad right now.....none of the gas pain that i thought i would have.....knock on wood that it all stays the way it is today......

So glad to have joined the bandsters!!!

I will keep you posted.

love to all:thumbup:

Take care and rest your body you will need the time to recover. It took me a while I am a slow healer. I also just needed some down time for me. This is your time to take care of yourself. The journey has begun and you will see the mystery unfold everyday ;-) I have a huge smile on my face this morning and I have never felt better in my entire life. I am now 17 weeks post op, down 60 plus pounds, had my third fill and everyone says I am half of my self and they all want to know how I did it. I have made soon really good food choice changes and have taken CHARGE of my life. Best Wishes you are taking charge. imaluckydog keep in touch Kathy
