Getting Banded Tomorrow

I'm getting banded tomorrow morning. I'm so excited. I'm not one bit nervous. I want this very badly and I don't have any reservations.

The 14 day pre-op liquid diet really wasn't bad. The Opti-Fast was amazing. It took care of any hunger. I'm glad I chose that option. I'm actually surprised how quickly the two weeks went by.

I've only told one of my friends about getting banded. My immediate family knows, but I just didn't want to tell anyone else. I have quite a few very close friends but I wanted to keep this to myself. The past few weeks have been interesting while trying to keep this to myself. I've had to do some minor fibbing during social events. That was probably the only hard part. At parties and get togethers I had to do some quick thinking to get out of weird eating situations so know one would pick up on the fact that I wasn't eating. Luckily my friend that knows about the band helped me out.

During the last two weeks I've also had to miss social gatherings due to last minute pre-op appointments. I think missing out on these events slightly raised their curiousity, but my I think my friend and I smoothed it out.

I'll be sure to post about my experience as soon as possible!!!!
