I was banded 2 weeks ago. I had the same problems and feelings as you do. Don't worry, the gas will go away in about a week. Put some heat on it and take your gas x. I too thought I made a mistake but you will feel better soon. When you eat, sip everything very slowly and you will be fine. Good luck to you. Stay postive. ;)

I was banded just under 2 weeks ago. I had the same shoulder pain, it was horrible! I agree about taking your gas-x and sipping your liquids slowly. The other thing that really helped me was to walk, it helped me more than the gas-x.

Yes, I agree, walking helps so much. I walk on the treadmill everyday. I started out really slow for about 15 minutes, now I walk about 2 miles. It makes my whole body feel good and it has helped my stomach go down.

This is day 6 for me post op. I had the shoulder pain too. Every day seems better and walking definitly helps. I do 10 minutes twice a day so far. Good for me...I worry about hunger and being bored. Any suggestions?
