Lap Band at Last!
I was banded on June 9, 2009. I was very scared that morning....wondering if I was doing the right thing.
The first two days I thought maybe I had made a mistake. I think that was due to the horrible food the hospital served. It is pretty hard to mess up jello, juice, and chicken broth; but they did!
I began feeling much better on the third day and have felt stronger as each day passes.
I have just started eating solid foods and have had no problems. I hope that continues. I never thought that I would be so conscious of what I eat, but I am.
I am looking for a book or a place where I may find some recipes for simple foods for lap band people. Does any one have any suggestions?
