I am gonna do this!!

I am going to have surgery on June 19th (omg that is coming up way to fast) kinda scared and i know people will give me the whole "you just need to eat better and go for walks ......." . So i am not really telling too many people. I am going with my Mom and we are getting the surgery on the same day. I am glad i have someone who is doing the same thing at the same time it will help alot!! right now i am 310lb 34 years-old and i am 5'7" I would love to be able to shop in a store that is not just for "plus size". i have been overweight as long as i can remember. I am not doing this to be "skinny" i dont see me ever being "skinny"lol. I am doing this for my health high BP , heart issues and diabetes are very heavy in my family and so far i dont have any of those problems and i dont want them... I have never posted anything before so I dont really know what I an doing:confused1:

Vegas anyone???

Is there anyone else going to have surgery in Las Vegas with Dr. Umbach? i am having my surgery at Blossom Bariatrics on Friday June 18th. gonna fly on the big metal bird Tuesday. (i'm a litttle scared :thumbup1:) we will be in Vegas for a week. will miss my hubby and kids soooooo much!!!! but im happy i am doing this. wish me luck....

almost 4 weeks out

went to my family doctor the other day. He said he was shocked at how fast I healed. I have no scabs or bruise left they are all gone. I was bruised pretty bad. I seem to heal quickly. Even when he was pushing around on my tummy it didn't hurt at all. He said I had lost 30lbs and was doing good I did have to get some blood work done he said he wanted to make sure my blood was keeping up with the weight loss. I have not heard anything so i guess there is nothing wrong. I am doing good not wanting to eat the food I make for hubby and the kids.   i am still trying to have the shakes but don't really like them too much. Hoping to start losing weight a little faster. But happy at where I am going :tongue_smilie:

This and that time going fast.

It is Sunday June 6th I leave for Vegas on Tuesday of next week surgery is set for the 18th. I think I am more scared of the plane ride than the surgery. I have only been on a plane once and i was soooo uncomfortable at that time i was at my highest weight(350) and had a 6 month old on my lap. lol Hoping this time will be better. I am also nervous cause my husband is not coming with me, He is taking the tome off work to stay home with the kids. I am going with my parents my Mom is having the surgery too (at least i hope so she has to go see the heart doc again this week hoping they clear her to have it done)   THATS LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY!!!:scared0: Started my "diet" on friday doing good the shakes are ok :thumbup1: could b better.   Had a pretty good week. Last weekend we had a yard sale and made a little money. Also got a little too much sun lol. We usually do better(we have a sale almost every year) I think picking a holiday weekend was not too smart. We are going to have another one closer to the fall.   A friend gave me some clothes to 'put back' i keep looking at them and thinking there is no way i will fit into those (i am in a size 22/24 they are 18/20 and 14/16)

4 days out

We had the sleeve done in Friday it is Tuesday now it took me a wile to 'wake up' after and when i did i was numb and didnt feel any pain (thats a good thing) i couldnt believe the bruses i had it looked like someone beat me up lol. I am doing good now that i am awake went to the doc today he took the pain pump out and looked at the bruses and cuts and said it all looked good and said we can travel so we r going home to Indiana on Wednsday cant wait to see my hubby and kids it has been a week and im going crazy without them..... so it has only been 4 days and i have only lost 3 lbs but all in all i think it was worth it. just waiting for the pounds to start falling off lol......i am gonna work for it!!!! :scared0:
