around the 45th day

Down a total of 50lbs as of 4 days ago. on solid foods a week or two now. Finally got somthing stuck today, besides being a food I had no business eating anyway. Then 5 hours later on some ravioli for lunch I got that stuck for several seconds. My experience so far with this band is a 10 out of 10 with 10 being totally awsome. My first fill is 9/24. looking forward to being tighter.

Day 27

Lost additional 2 lbs. Started mushie stage and the weight loss slowed a bit. Was eating oatmeal for breakfast which is not the best food. First fill on 9/30. I went from borderline size 52 to a comfortable 48 and I punched my first hole in my belt.

around the 80th day.

So far lost 57, but nothing since my last fill. But again we are not in an ideal living situation. house was broken into and severely vandalized and living in a hotel. I have been able to eat normal sized meals and have been. Finally called my doctor today and go in on monday to get another fill. Probably will do a liquid diet for a few days to jump start the weight loss. I have never had anything majorly stuck. Have never thrown anything up either. will have to start being good and learning my eating slow and small bites.

8/14 3 days post op

Surgery went fine, instead of narcotics they gave me a marcaine pump to keep me numb. Took it out a day early because of leakage but so far I have had no pain. Not getting too terribly hungry. I weighed today and lost another 11 lbs which brings me to 27lbs over 2 weeks.:wink:

day 14

Back to work today, could have stayed off longer but without having any pain couldn't really justify it to myself.   I am down 35lbs as of sunday 8/23. Feeling great. Started mushy foods today.   I can't believe how easy all this has been. the only pain I have is the pain of paying for this out of pocket. :laugh:

day 19

Still doing great, work is good. Even moved some dirt yesterday with no problems. Down a total of 42lbs. Around 600 - 800 calories a day. :blushing:

5 days post op

Still no pain, just some discomfort after vacuuming the living room. and the drinking too fast discomfort. Other then that this experience is wonderful. couldn't help getting on the scale today and anther 2 lbs. My band is a realize band.     highest surgery current goal total 29lbs 350 234 221 170

saterday 8/8

This is the last day for solid protiens and the shakes, tomorrow starts day 1 of the bowel prep and only clear fluids. My weight loss so far 16lbs. with a surgery date of 8/11.:frown:

around the 80th day plus a couple.

Got my 2nd fill, which is 6cc in a 11cc band. He normally puts 1cc in at this time but I am able to eat a large portion so he put in 2cc. I am able to drink ok but have a feeling like something is in my throat.
