My name is Rebecca and I thought long and hard on the Gastric Sleeve procedure and decidied it was something that I should move forward with doing for the better of my life. I started my journey in the Dr.'s office at 288 lbs. I had a rough time for the few months it seemed my body did not want to lose the weight and once I was getting close to goal crunching time it seemed that is when I began dropping the weight. I ended up at 264 pre surgery. After my 10 diet I was at 257. I had my surgery on Nov. 20th, 2014 and was released the next day.  I did manage to weigh myself and was at 264 again after surgery and now I currently am one week and one day post op and I weigh 245 and I could not be any prouder of myself!
I am still learning alot throughout my adventure but I would love to meet people and have support with the rest of my journey as I hope to learn and hopefully gain more than just learning but friends throughout this experience!
