My story... Well, like most of us, I've struggled with up and down weight for almost 40 years. I have tried every diet known to man and have had both successes and failures. My biggest success was about 7 years ago when I went on Body For Life. I lost 60 lbs and kept it off for 2 years. It was blissful :) Then I got married and had 2 babies. Put all of the weight back on, plus some more.

I'm ready for a permanent lifestyle change. Not just for my health and ultimately a longer life, but for my kids and husband.

For my children... I want to be a positive role model for them. I want them to learn good eating habits and have very active lifestyle. Unfortunately, with my current extra weight, I don't have the energy to keep up with them. I want to ski and run and play and just get down at their level. I love and miss that physical activity.

For my husband... I don't want to be ashamed and modest with the person I love most in the world. He's my biggest supporter, big or small and I don't want my mental obstructions getting in the way of our relationship.

For me... I'm so ready to meet the healthy person that I know is inside of me. I want to experience and enjoy life and not just wish and dream about it. I want to do everything I can do to extend my life and my time with my family. Obesity does not help, it henders. I'm ready :)
