  1. Time released meds are supposed to be tough after bypass. I can tell you that I take Trintellix (was Brintellix) for depression (though it is apparently immediate release) - 1x per day at bedtime. I did increase my dose post-op, but I don't know if that is so much to do with the malabsorption of med as it has to do with just general additional emotions that come with the rapidly changing body and release of hormones as you lose (plus I got laid off which really was a blow to my ego!). Anyway, I still wouldn't change the surgery for a moment. They can adjust your meds, but it will take some time and adjustment. Good luck with your decision.
  2. I was told the same thing. But have you ever used one of those tiny "razors" that you can use for soft fuzz on your face? It basically isn't a razor and doesn't leave nicks. It won't be a super smooth shave, but it will make it short enough that you won't worry about it maybe?
  3. I know my doctor in Dallas does some very complicated reversals. Dr Colleen Kennedy. Sent from my HTC One M9 using the BariatricPal App

Ditto. I didn't realize it was there either. Will try it in the future though. Love chatting...
  5. Thanks @@JamieLogical! You look great! That makes me feel so much better! Did you have the same kind of depression those folks did or do you suppose the show just exaggerated it for dramatic affect?
  6. I have way hex both episodes now and I know it is edited together what they want but I found both episodes depressing. None of them really looked that good after Maybe my expectations are unrealistic but I would be sorely disappointed if I still had that. Much stomach showing in this clothes after surgery. Maybe they just had bad clothes on? With my loose skin I don't look like have that much of a pooch... And they just seemed so sad. I don't think I will watch it again
