I ate Nachos!! :( I'm 4 weeks post-op

So I'm at work, I did something terrible! I ate some nachos! I ate probably about a cup 1/2 worth! I feel so terrible. I'm getting my band filled hopefully tomorrow(2nd doc visit, and they said it would be a possibility) and I was just kinda saying "ah what the hell" .

I have not been feeling much restriction at all.

I'm just addicted to junk food. This is so harD!

Pretty normal really. Can't change from devil to angel overnight!!!! Dont' beat yourself up over it. 'A little of what you fancy does you good'. But not if you spend the next week feeling guilty over it!

I tend to have a few naughty things close to a fill, after a fill I have to be careful and am more aware of what I am doing.

We went out for dinner last night as I am in for a fill on Thursday and that will be the end of naughtiness for the best part of a month.

Regards

Hhahah Ahhh a 1/2 a cup of Nachos? Don't sweat it, I am sure people have done WAY worse than a half a cup of Nachos. I once ate a HALF a bag of Chocolate chips after i was banded, now THAT was ridiculous. Just try and get back on track and stay motivated it doesnt pay to beat yourself up over it. You realized you shouldn't have so you won't do it again. That is the first step!

1/2 cup of nachos? Are we talking cheese and chips? Shoot...call it a meal and move on.

My son got his wisdom teeth done this morning and so, as a treat because he was jonesing for it and wouldn't be able to have it for a week or so, I took him to taco bell for dinner last night. I had a hard shell taco and the small nachos and called it dinner. No guilt attached.

Awwww, don't feel bad. You don't have proper restriction right now. And, you really didn't even eat that much. Its just not worth beating yourself up over. You've done great to lose as much as you have this first month. Try to focus on that instead of this one little tiny splurge.
