Adhesions - Turned down for surgery?

Any one had previous abdominal surgeries and been turned down for Lap-Band? I am mortified that I will be turned down.

Anyone had adhesions removed abdominally and then had Lap-Band surgery?

Thanks for your time.

I had an abdomenal hysterectomy and didn't have any problems getting banded.

Good luck. I hope all goes well.

I have had 4 previous abdominal surgeries and on 5/3/10 attempted to have my lap band but I had too much scar tissue. So my surgeon cleaned up the scar tissue and now I have to wait for that to heal and attempt my surgery again on 8/2/10.
