Unfilled, relieved but sad

On Nov. 17, 09, I had my 3rd fill. I was a little tight for a few days, which I expected to be. I couldn't get anything to stay down. I stayed on liquids for 6 days. Things started to get better, but now I'm back vomiting. Certain things I can eat well, but my problem foods are chicken, fish and shrimp. I was seen today and the doctor totally unfilled me. Stated that I have to stay on liquids for 2 weeks and hopefully I didn't slip my band. If everything goes well the next 2 weeks he will start over from the beginning with my fills. I was at 4.4CC in my band. This is such a BUMMER.

I'm relieved to not be vomiting, but dreading heading back to BANDSTER HELL.

I had to be completely unfilled also. My problem was I got a fill and for 4 days could not eat everything came up. They found that a piece of spinach had gotten stuck in my pouch, making its own pouch. I was unfilled for 6 weeks, but I did manage to loss 3 pounds. Refilled to 4cc's lost 7 more pounds in 6 weeks. slow going, but at least it is coming off.

Good luck!

I got totally unfilled today too:( Had the stomach flu... back to square one. Oh well, I feel so much better and relieved I don't even mind:)

I feel your pain, truly. Especially when I gained 12 pounds in the 2 weeks of unfill. However, that being said, it was a temporary setback and I went on to reclaim my fills slowly and started losing again. I wish you the best and please keep exercising!!!!

That's exactly what I don't want to do is gain weight. This is hard enough. Yes, I must increase my workout time and work harder.

Lingra, you will do fine, especially if you log your food and remember to pretend you are on an old fashioned diet. I must admit I took advantage of being unfilled to eat EVERYTHING except pizza that I couldn't eat while banded. Ever since then I have been regretting missing the pizza, LOL!!!!!

Best wishes,

Mimi

I sat down and ate dinner last night without vomiting. Just that alone made me feel much better. Not having to jump up a run to the bathroom was great.
