Help with High Fiber Cereals

Hi Everyone. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I sure did and I was actually good.

I am 5 weeks post op (Oct 23). I've had a problem going from the puree to the soft foods. I'm not getting enough Fiber in my diet. And let me tell you it hurts. Forgive the bluntness. I had to take 2 stool softeners and Benefiber in order to go. My question is this, what High Fiber Cereals do you eat?

My nutritionist suggested FIBER ONE Cereal. I eat the Raisin Bran Clusters selection. They have several different kinds but I like this one best. It has 4gms of Protein in it.

I also take a stool softner at night.

I eat the Fiber One Honey Clusters. I mix 1/2 cup of it with carbmaster yogurt each morning. I get 14.5 grams of protein and 7.5 grams of fiber. That seems to help keep me regular.

A glass of Citrucel (while not a cereal) tastes good, doesn't cause gas, contains negligible calories and is easy to drink.

Benifiber makes a drink that is like crystal light that goes in a water bottle. Tastes like apple juice. Pretty good...
