Blessings bandsters

May your stuffing be tasty May your turkey plump, May your potatoes and gravy Have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious And your pies take the prize, And may your Thanksgiving dinner Stay off your thighs! ~Author Unknown

Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone wherever you are! The poem is so cute! Thanks.

Regardless of what country you live in, I wish you many blessings on this day. Thank you for all your wise words and funny tales. I look forward to a skinnier Thanksgiving next year.

Happy thanksgiving to all !

Last year at this time I hadn't even thought about Lap Band Surgery....all I was worried about was how much stuffing I could fit in my mouth.....now I am 6 mos. out and feeling great! Food no longer is that exciting.

Enjoy!

This is my first Thanksgiving, I am 9 days out of surgery. I am looking forward to my 2 oz of mashed potato dinner, and my mom is using skim milk and light margarine for me. Being without food is really allowing me to think about what I am thankful for this year instead of how high I can pile my plate with food. There is so much that is good in my life and I am thankful for this tool in getting happier and healthier. Thanks for all the support here on LBT and good luck to everyone through the day. Happy Thanksgiving!!
