Are there any good dating services?

Are there any dating services special for plus size people?

I have looked through many services and whenever I told someone my weight, they said no thanks. It's very frustrating going through all this trouble and would be so easy to just meet someone who likes big girls.

I'm not looking for a man, I got one that I love dearly, but my sister needs a man and she can't handle any more rejection and heart ache!

Where do you live, I have a brother who is looking for a nice woman, weight is not an issue with him. He has just lost over 100 lbs himself so he knows the struggle. He is the greatest man and very handsome too.I do not understand why he can not find himself a good woman. He has a good job, makes good money, loves kids. Has a good tender heart. If I was single he would be my kind of man!

www.eharmony.com - it's Christian based and you take this big long quiz about yourself and they match you only with others who would be compatible and its all technical - but I know of some who have really good luck with it - in fact I was doing it for a month and having good luck until I met my boyfriend and if for some reason him and I don't work out I'll do it again - they match you based on the major things that successful realtionships need - and you can set up your own regional area on how far you want to travel etc. I just did a local region that gave me matches up to 150 miles around my area. Its kind of expensive - but well worth it!

Maggie-If you check out bbw dating on a search you will find many dating online services. I dated a guy from bbwdatefinder.com at one time. There are many of these services and there are guys who expect and want to meet big beautiful women.

I tried eHarmony, but had the same problems there as I did on all the others. Once they find out how big you are, they drop you like a hot potato.

Michelle-does your brother know you're advertising him? :laugh lol

Hmmm....I live in Oregon....

Hey there Maggie~

Another dating service for BBW would be www.bbpeoplemeet.com. I'm actually trying it myself. My sister paid it for me with an online check for 9.95 a month or something like that. I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a try. I've been a member for about 2 weeks and I do get alot of flirts and all, but haven't found any to fit me yet. Maybe I'm being just too picky. LOL. I have no idea. There are some good looking men there too. When you first sign up, you'll get to see who's viewing you, but you can't see who flirts or sends messages, which makes you just wanna pay for the dang thing. LOL.

Anywho, let me know if you try it out, I'll add you to my buddies list. I still haven't tried the chatting part yet. You gotta have a buddy to do that. LOL. I was getting all kinds of chat requests when I didn't have a membership, now that I have one, no one ever wants to chat with me. :) Haha. It's a pretty cool site though.

La_madam, I'm interested in your brother too! Haha. We might have to have an auction here for him huh?
