When did you start to.......

take the multi-vitamins after surgery? I am almost a month post-op and have no idea if I am supposed to be taking my vitamins......I know I could call the surgeon's office, but they take FOREVER to return phone calls of any sort.

I have always taken a multi-vitamin and continued doing so a few days after surgery. Just be sure to crush them if you are unable to swallow a large pill. Most people take chewables after being banded. I highly recommend Viactiv chewables. You will also need to take calcium. I take vitamin D and Biotin as well.

i don't take any vitamins. the chevyables were nasty and i can't swollow the big ones. they get stuck.

They only day that I did NOT take them was surgery day. Every day since then.

Any drug store should have them in the Vitamin section. I think even Walmart carries them. You should get some papaya enzymes too for when you have stuck episodes.
