Another Newbie here...

I got my lil' packet from my surgery on Tuesday for my pre-op appointment. Woo hoo!

I've already gone through the process of tests, doctors appointments and insurance clearance. It began on September 9th with a consult and I'm finally getting my surgery on November 17th!

I am so excited and nervous at the same time...since I've never had a major surgery.

Can't wait to get know others on here going through the same thing or who have been there.

Wow, your process went pretty fast too. How are you doing so far? Your about 2 weeks ahead of me.

I've been doing great!! I took off two weeks to rest, but really only needed a couple of days. I was walking the day after surgery and have been doing so ever since. I don't know how much weight I've lost yet; don't want to become OC on weighing in as I know I will if I start. Won't know until Thursday, my follow up visit, and can't wait!!!

Hi i am so ner vous. Will be banded on the 19th best of luck.

Hope thats how it works for me...lol. Well I don't have a scale at home so I think it might be a good idea on not buying a new one, like you I don't want to become obsessed w/ it.

Glad your doing so well...I won't have my f/u until December 4th.
