  4. Hi All November Knockouts!!! Today is my 1 year band-a-versary!!! I have to admit that I have been a little stuck for a few months, but am getting back on track. I can't believe I am 3 lbs from a total of 100lbs!!! I think I could've done it, but I'll blame it on Halloween:drool:.....lol!!! I hope everyone's journey has gone and continues to go well!!! Cheers!!!!
  5. Hello, I was banded November 3, 2009 and am down 96 lbs. My weight loss has slowed, but I'm content. Trying to find more time in my busy schedule to do more exercise. I use to walk about 4 to 5 days a week, but since it is so darn hot, I had to let that go. I have about 54 more lbs to loose before I am at my goal.
  6. Hi All, I haven't posted in a while, but am happy to report that I am down 82lbs!!!!:smile2::thumbup::thumbdown: Besides working, I've been walking at least 3 1/2 miles 3 to 4 days a week. I hope everyone else is doing well!!:blushing:
  7. I have BCBS/AL and it only took a few hours.
  8. I got the Mirena two months before being banded. It stopped my cramps and lightened my period. I don't think it has had an effect on my weight loss though, as I am steady loosing.
  9. Congrats to everyone on their success!!! Keep up the good work!!!
  10. Thanks!!! It was so hard to get 20 lbs off before the band and it feels great to get rid of those 20. I feel like I'm back to normal. There is no soreness and I have no restriction, just will power. I'm going back for my first fill in two weeks. I can't wait. I feel like I can eat way more, but decide not to. How is your progress? I hope everything is going well for you and that your follow-up goes smoothly.
  11. Hi All, Banded on Nov. 3rd, down 20lbs, and my doctor advanced me to soft foods over the weekend and then introduce "normal foods" afterwards. I go back in 2 weeks for a fill. I'm glad everyone else is doing well!!!
  12. I'm glad everything went well. I hope you bounce back to your healthy self soon!!!!
  13. Good Luck to everyone being banded this week :w00t:!!! You are all in my prayers.
  14. Not sure what time your surgery is tomorrow, but good luck and keep me posted on your healthy and speedy recovery:thumbup:!!!!
  15. I've been doing great!! I took off two weeks to rest, but really only needed a couple of days. I was walking the day after surgery and have been doing so ever since. I don't know how much weight I've lost yet; don't want to become OC on weighing in as I know I will if I start. Won't know until Thursday, my follow up visit, and can't wait!!!
  16. Congrats!!! You'll be banded before you know it. Good Luck:thumbup:
  17. Welcome glittergirl!!! I hope everything goes well for you. Read around and enjoy!!
