I have been using the Elite Whey Isolate Protein Shakes. Both the Vanilla and the Mocha. And also the Unjury chicken soup flavor and the Unjury Unflavored which I put in Sugar Free Pudding and Jello.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Hope to see you on the losers bench really soon.

Congrats on your upcoming date! If you have any questions post-op, just ask. In the meantime, buy yourself some Gax-X strips (read the directions), some liquid Tylenol, get a pillow to hold over tummy when coughing/sneezing for a few days and stock up on what the doctor says you can have. I use Matrix Protein Powder (Vanilla) but you can use Carnation Instant Breakfast, Atkins Advantage, and some others that have been mentioned. Good luck and let us hear from you.

Good luck finding one that you like. This thread appears regularly as many people have trouble finding one that they can tolerate. I tried bunches, bunches I tell you, and I ended up with EAS Advantage shakes. I can also tolerate Muscle Milk Light. Both can be found at WalMart. However, everyone's tastes are different, and you'll have to find your way, too. Good luck!

I have Pure Protein Vanilla and Chocolate from Target and they are pretty good. They come in a huge vat, though. I also have the single serving Muscle Milk lighht. The MM have a very sweet, artificial taste that I don't like much but are very convenient for when you're on the go.

I was banded on Nov 24th last yr!! How time flies! Best of luck to you. You won't regret it and will be nice and thin next yr. I didn't care much for any of the protein drinks, but found the muscle milk powder most palatable for me. I used the chocolate and often added peanut butter which made it taste much better!! I drink the ready made muscle milk lite now. If you can find free samples of any kinds on line, take advantage of it because everyone's taste is different and I know I wasted lots of money on kinds I hated. Definitely buy small amts until you have tried different recommended brands. Read the nutritional labels. Costco was carrying a great tasting protein shot, fruit flavored. I didn't see it today, but hope they keep having it.

I really like the Matrix 5 protein powder. I put the vanilla powder in the blender with a banana and a handful of ice cubes and it tastes wonderful.

Congrats and good luck tomorrow!
