I guess the best way to start is to just throw your questions out there. There are many experienced banders willing to share their experiences.

I remember the waiting for insurance approval. Was my most worrisome time throughout this entire process.

The lap band is the best thing I have ever done for myself. You do have to work right along with the band in making healthy food choices and following your doc's rules. If you do these things, you will see results and ultimately hit your goals.
