I inadvertently discovered that my Isopure Dutch chocolate powder does not mix with skim milk. It kind of clumped up and left chewy little clumps all through it.

So I went out today and bought some EAS Chocolate whey Powder from Sam's Club. Half the price of the Isopure, although it is about 20 calories and 2 carbs higher and 2 grams Protein less than the Isopure...but the flavor is phenomenally richer.

After a bout of shopping that left my mouth salivating, I decided to make a bit more substantial shake for lunch by using a scoop of EAS chocolate powder, 1 cup skim milk and half of a small banana. I think I may possibly have died and gone to heaven!

One scoop of EAS chocolate powder is 130 calories, 23 gm protein, 3 gm carbs and 2.5 gm fat.

The vanilla is 120 calories and I think the rest of the nutritional info is the same. A 5 lb bag was $28 versus the $48 I paid for the Isopure and that was only because I bought it with my GNC gold card during week one of the month along with a 10% sale they were having. Normally, it's $70 for 3-1/2 lbs!

stop&shop.you have to look in the dietian isle.and sometime it,s on sale for like $12.00-14.00 dollars. also if you have a walmart.because gnc is so expensive.

EAS pre-made shakes are good when your in a rush. I get them by the case at BJ's. More expensive, but you can take them anywhere.

Costco sells it too. I love the Vanilla but have always disliked Chocolate. Go figure. lol

I love the EAS shakes. No sugar and not as sweet. I buy a case of pre-prepared shakes for on the road, and the powder for at home to use with my magic bullet. Love it!!!
