New Year, New You Challenge!

With the Turkey Day Challenge ending in Nov., I wanted to present a new challenge called "New Year, New You!" that will start in Nov. to overlap.

I am currently part of the Turkey Day challenge but when I reach that, it will not put me at my goal so therefore I want to be prepared with another goal. So here it is.

I know there are many of you who did not participate in the Turkey Day for various reasons (you were just banded, you found out about it too late ect.) So here is a great opportunity for you to get involved in a challenge!

The challenge will begin on Nov. 1st and go through Jan. 1st. I wanted to post this early so that people would have enough time to find out about this and decided on a goal for themselves!

Here is a google spreadsheet(much like the Turkey Day) where you can enter all your information. Don't forget to rate this thread high so we can get it up to the top so there will be lots of users in on this challenge just like Turkey Day!!!

Hey Lady!

Do we weigh in weekly or just at the end of the challenge? I changed my goal to a more realistic number...

Thanks for doing this!

I agree did not make my Turkey day challenge but set a reasonable goal so hopefully will do better this time!

How is everyone doing 1 week in now????

I'm in!!! Do we document our weighins weekly or just at the end?

How is everyone doing 1 week in now????

Just average - I got down to 208.4 (or 208.2...cant remember) but now am back up to 211.something. I'm so discouraged :w00t: Sometimes I can eat whatever I want (literally, unlimited amount) and sometimes I can only eat a little and it gets stuck. Getting so frustrated...

I'm down 1-3 lbs depending on the day :w00t: today it is 2 lbs

I think this will help me reach my goal for the new year. See you 2010 199

Woo Hoo! It was a 3 pound week!

There must be something in the air. This has been the first good week I've had in a month. I'm down 2-3 lbs.

Yay, down 2 pounds (really 3, since I gained and re-lost a pound since the start of the challenge!) My fill is totally working now....

I just wanted to say thanks to Robin for fixing the spreadsheet for us!!!

Just checking in, my goal for the new you challenge is to be at 200 by new years, I am currently at 220, and have a goal to be at 215 by this sat, i know it is a little un-realistic but i really want this goal more then anything, so i am really gonna try hard this week to get as close as i can to it. so wish me luck:thumbup::biggrin:

Checking in - I have lost 4 lbs so far in the challenge.

Started at 209, now at 205. My goal is 194, so 11 pounds to go!

Thanks again for doing this.

Joining in this challenge a little late but I need something to motivate me through the holidays!
