Hi to everyone here....

This is my first post :frown: ...I just signed up for a seminar on Wednesday, Oct. 7th with Dr. Wilkenfeld in The Woodlands...I thought I would call and schedule my first consultation, and get this...He does the consultations right after the seminar...So cool! :wink3: ...Two birds with one stone, I guess...I hope I will like him... I am sooooo ready for this!

Has anyone here had any experience with Dr Wilkenfeld they would like to share?...

I love reading everyone's stories, good or bad...

Welcome! This is a big first step (I remember my seminar and consult like it was just the other day) and if you have any questions we're here for you. We've been through it :thumbup:

So here is my update after Wednesday's seminar...

Since I will be self-pay ( exclusion on my insurance policy :frown:), I guess I am what you might call "on the fast-track program".

Seminar and first consult: 10/07/09

Pre-op meeting: 10/19/09

Surgery: 11/17/09

The doctor schedules surgeries every Tuesday with a two week pre-op diet, so they said to just pick a date. :w00t:

I turn 40 on 11/16/09 :thumbup:... so i picked 11/17/09 to start the second half of my life on a positive note. Yay me!
