Goal weight?

Did your doctor set one or did you set one, maybe both? I am 15 pounds to my own goal. Doctor wants me to get down to 125. I am 5'2" and I have had 4 kiddos. My question for everyone is do you feel like 125 is out of reach? I am already sagging and I cant imagine how bad it would be after 25 more pounds! And once I get to whatever goal I get to, I am still wondering how we maintain that? Any comments or suggestions would be more than welcome!!

Thanks!

D

I never discussed a final goal weight with my surgeon, so on my year check up on Sept 17th I asked him. I weighed in at 198 that day, 60 down in a year and he told me that he would like me to lose 40 more. He said he would be happy for me to be anywhere in the 150's. My initial goal for myself was 140. I am 5' 4"

Im 5ft 2 in too was 200 lbs, banded last Dec, my Dr calculations etc put my ideal weight at 135lbs, Im now 155lbs, personal goal is 150. On the funky machine my MD checks weight etc with, my trunk is normal now, Ive lost 8 in from chest, 8 inches from waist and abot 9 in from hips. So Im shooting for 150 and try and stay there

Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions. I really appreciate it. I am not saying that I wont try for 125, might as well. I feel so good at 149, how much better would it feel?!? I just felt like 135 was a little more realistic, but maybe not? I think I will just continue chugging along, I have just now started excersizing, that should help with sag. I know, I should have been doing it all along, but I didnt so better late than never. I love this website, there is so many people on here with great testimonies and suggestions! I dont think I could have made it this far without everyones help!

Thanks again,

Deanna
