Re-motivated

Any ideas how to get re-motivated? I haven't lost anything this month and having trouble staying focused on eating right. It's starting to get me down. I understand the band is only a tool but, I didn't anticipate having to rely so much on willpower. Obiviously, I don't have much otherwise I wouldn't have been overweight to begin with.

Any tips?

Sometimes, it's hard (understatement) to stay motivated when the scale is not cooperating. I was wondering, though, since you said you're relying a lot on willpower, if you're keeping up with your fills. If you're not losing, you're feeling hungry, and you find your portions are getting bigger, you might need a little adjustment.

Other than that, I know the head hunger kicks in for me big time, when I'm in a battle with the scale. If the willpower is to fight head hunger, that's a bigger battle. When the scale isn't moving, the head hunger is just that much more tempting.

The one thing that helps me defeat head hunger is drinking something unusual during those times. A skinny vanilla latte, for instance. I try to treat myself that way, and that seems to help.

I've had three fills the last one was to much and I couldn't drink anything and was sliming all day / night so, I had to have a slight unfill. Now, feel like I'm hungry all the time... I guess, I need to try to get a very slight fill at my next appt. Hopefully it won't be to much.

I went from one extreme not being able to eat to almost the other, eating too much. I have been craving alot of sweets.

I have been exercising 5-6 days a week for at least an hour each.

Think about why you went to this extreme and think about what you wanna look like next bathing suit season!!!

My motivations right now are: 1. My best friend is getting married and I am her MOH. 2. My sister is getting this procedure done next month and she will not pass me up!!!!

Good luck getting motivated again! You can do it!!!!!
