Omega 3 and other EFAs

What are you all doing about taking Omega 3 or any other Essential fatty acids? They are usually large pills and Iknow i can bite them but not loving the fishiness.

I'm adding super fine ground flax seed to foods.

But am missing my fish oil, so considering gummies.

Where do you get the gummies (what are they called?) and how much fish oil does it give - I was taking nearly 3000 mgs. GREAT idea on the flax seed and i HAVE some - 2 tbspns 2400 mg. Is that what you take?

Also can you take the gummies if you are on mushies post op? or after fills?

I have no problem taking these pills, even though I have good restriction...go figure. Anywho if I weren't able to swallow the big ones, I'd also try to see if there were gummies available. I also know a few people who take "shots" of the oil once a day to get it out of the way.

Hi,

I have asked this question several times. I need my omega 3 oil. Gummies??? Where can I get some info. I do not like fish so I need a supplement. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

I take an Omega 3 oil, 1 teaspoon a day. It does not taste fishy at all, just tastes like I have drunken oil!! It's by Carlson and I bought it at a natural nutrition store.

costco has Omega 3 gummies that I just bought along with the gummy Vitamins. They are by "Lil Critters". They taste fine. I also bought a liquid Vitamin from a friend who sells "Pure Encapsulation" vitamins, purecaps.com I like the gummies the best. I haven't tried taking a fish oil pill yet.. I've taken tylenol and that went down ok.. not sure how the big fish oil pills will go down though!

Here is a link to Amazon, that sells the same thing:

Amazon.com: Lil Critters Omega-3 Gummy Fish With Dha-180 Fish: Health & Personal Care

I am not allowed to take anything that is in gummie form!! It could become stuck, like chewing gum!!

Why not get it from food instead of a supplement. I eat an egg most days and also eat lots of fish.
