What ones are we aloud to have for fruits and veggies. I know I can't have celary and citrus I don't know if I can have.maybe I can I think I have to take the membranes off. So what fruits and veggies are okay to eat? I really love pineapple, oranges, apples, pears, grapes, and strawberries. Oh I also don't think I can have bananas I don't know. cool, I don't know why I can't have bananas =, I tried a pear though and it tasted so good

Who said you can't have bananas? Your doctor? I have eaten them since the very beginning.

Did you decide to keep your band? I think I read once you were wanting it removed. I hope it all works out for you. I know since you are younger it might make life a little harder for you. I hope you decide to keep it. I think you will be happy you did later on. But what I read sound like you have had touch times. Hope they get better for you!!

yeah it said on my paper to avoid them but I'm not sure if it said I could have them after six weeks

I'm not sure yet

I love fruit and veggies but per Dr. orders nothing sweet at all. No fruit, except for tomato. :scared2:

that's so weird why?

Ever? Or untill solids?

Ever. The dr said the sugar from the fruit will cause you to eat more and weight loss will not be as significant.

Bananas and melons have the highest sugar content. My doctor said to eat them sparingly. As far as other fruits, I can eat them, but I have to take the skins off (apples, plums, etc) and be wary of stringy fruits like pineapple and oranges.

Watermelon is an important part of my life... especially the Dulcinea small watermelons. They have them at Costco and they are a great price and always sweet and tasty!
