Home Thread...for the thread homeless :)

Hi there. Just wanted to see if I could build a new home with some new (and hopefully old) friends. I do not wanna be 'homeless' anymore so here I am! This is gonna be a place for friends to meet (hopefully) and talk about anything & everything.

My name is Tracy and I live in Deer Park, Texas. I have been married for 6 years. I was banded in April '07. Got 4 pounds away from goal, quit smoking and gained 46-50 pounds back so I am on my journey again. This time as a non-smoker :w00t:

This is a life change and with it comes lifelong friends...wanna come along for the ride? :blushing:

  • I was trying to say pretty much what Cindy did, but this damn mess of a new layout....I was trying to increase the font size and froze it up----grrrrrr. Not a happy camper with all this nonsense! I

  • Debbie e-mailed me and is confused about the new layout. That seriously pisses me off that this happened. I am going to try everything I can to get a new one on the other and I will let you all know

Wow, plain, I gotta tell ya, that new pic is really doing it for me. Love the curls!

Me and my 7up are headed back to bed. Wonder if I will sleep for 14 hours like I did last night. Hoping.

Hey all

Tracy - I'll email you in am

Kat - I love Old Navy - Hope deal with Rick is minor, and then a tattoo is in order.. hmmmmmmmmmm I think I need one

Suzanne - feel better

Angela ? yes OSHA is a wonderful thing! very complicated but because of the regs, I have a job I love :sneaky:

Cindy - Debbie .. Hey there

I know I'm missing someone - I need to go to bed, its 11pm and I didn't shower and have to get up at 4, If I don't go to bed now, my mom and cousin will be here and then I'll never sleep

night all

Hi all,

Just a quick pass through.

Suzie, feel better.

Angela, thank you for saying that I was appreciated.

Michelle, I've often felt that people are not very nice, some just downright nasty, if not selfrighteous because they just sail through the process. That pisses me off, but I figure there's no point in making myself even more angry by getting in to an argument with them. I made that mistake once, and I'll never go there again

Everybody stay warm, safe and dry.

Debbie.

Thanks. Mah new stylist is expensive, but well worth the cost. My hair has never looked better.

Trey - nice new pic!

Thanks. I'm proud of it.

I'm seriously thinking of getting a half-sleeve done. I'm a little worried about coming off as "Mr. Midlife Crisis", though...:sneaky:

Everybody stay warm, safe and dry.

Deb, what a nice sentiment! I like that...

morning ya'll

I definately need sleep, I turned my alarm off instead of hitting snooze

Trey - I have a few, I love sleeves on guys - some girls can carry it off, but not many. after I finish my foot, I really want one on my wrist, and to wrap around to my thumb. I'm very themed - I have moon and stars on my neck that i want to add a guardian angel over when I find the perfect one. I just don't know what i want on my wrist, and how big, even if I work in construction industry, I still was a banker and always had to be Professional.

Tracy- MUAH Love ya sister

ok have to run, guys are starting at 6 today

Good job, Tracy!!!!

Kat...hoping the best for Rick. Keep us posted.

Suzie...how you feeling today?

Trey, Trey, Trey....Love the new 'do! Care to share your stylist??

I am ready to go home!! Zach has an away game tonight (a little over an hour away) so Mike and I are going to the bayhouse to light a little fire in the pit (in more ways than one? :sneaky: lol!!!) and enjoy the peace and our *finally freaking here* cold front!

Have a good one!

Angela

Congrats, Tracy!!!!!!!! I'm too afraid to step on my scale. I feel like life has gotten in the way of my weight loss. I really have got to get back to eating right.

I bought another Christmas present today. I feel so good about starting so early since we have so many people to buy for. DH and I are having pictures made next weekend, so our grandparents are getting pictures of us because they don't have any. I only have one grandparent left who is re-married. DH has 4 sets of grandparents (his parents are divorced and his mom's parents are divorced) and one great grandmother.

I feel accomplished today. I've made tea, boiled the chicken for my chicken casserole tonight. I've swept and mopped. I feel like I constantly sweep because of our Boxer shedding. lol And I've finished my Christmas list of what we're buying everyone for Christmas, all except DH's step dad and my sister & her husband.

Okay..enough of my pointless stuff. lol I'm going to finish cleaning. :sneaky:

Hey.

Not doing too much better today. But I did manage to get in a take a shower. At least I smell better.

Tracy, congrats on the -3lbs. How exciting.

A nice bunch of women, one really cool guy.

I would read, never write, though I longed to say hi.

So I took a deep breath, and i started to post.

Of all of the threads, this one welcomed me most.

You opened your arms, and you opened your hearts;

You widened the circle, drew me in from the start.

I'm not the best bandster that you'll ever meet.

You wouldn't look twice if we passed on the street;

But I'm here and you listen. I feel I belong.

Your support of each other, and me, make me strong.

Ashley, Shar, Terri, Kat 8 17,

Jenn, Michelle, Tracy, our thread starter Queen!

Suziecat, Cindy, and Angela too,

And then there is Plain--I would not forget you.

Thank you all so much for the wonderful way

You let newcomers know they are welcome to stay.

There really aren't words with which I can express

How fantastic you are--you all are the best!

Debbie
