Home Thread...for the thread homeless :)

Hi there. Just wanted to see if I could build a new home with some new (and hopefully old) friends. I do not wanna be 'homeless' anymore so here I am! This is gonna be a place for friends to meet (hopefully) and talk about anything & everything.

My name is Tracy and I live in Deer Park, Texas. I have been married for 6 years. I was banded in April '07. Got 4 pounds away from goal, quit smoking and gained 46-50 pounds back so I am on my journey again. This time as a non-smoker :w00t:

This is a life change and with it comes lifelong friends...wanna come along for the ride? :blushing:

:tongue2: Hi there Michelle :(

Any friend of Kats is a friend of ours  Welcome!

Thank you!

I know Kat from PJTP and she's become a friend.

I was banded a little more than a year ago. I'm a slow loser but at least I'm a loser! LOL!

Married to my firefighting DH for nearly 22 yrs and we have a 3 yr old daughter, 1 DDog and live in the mountains. I'm mostly a SAHM but do the books for our church from home.

Have a great night.

Hi Michelle - nice to meet you

Terry - hi there... did you get the ticker... You have a few seasoned banders here, so if you have any questions just shout them out!

Hi Kat... how are you doing?

Tracy - we have to catch up one day,

Hi Suzanne - how are you today?

Hi michelle my hubby is a fire fighter too. Tracy- that recipee sounds good, and my hubby pretty much demolished the cookies lol. Terry- do you need another fill? I noticed you said you've only had 1 fill since april, I've had 3 since may. I'm at my sweet spot now. Today had my godsons birthday party and baptism, the rest was spent on facebook haha. Back to work tomorrow. If any one would like to look me up on face book the names cari morden

Welcome Michelle. Glad to have you here.

Well, summer is officially over. The pool is closed up. Waaaaa....... It was so tempting to get in one more time but wwe were only able to get the temp up to 76. So it looks like next May for me.

Got up early and headed to the grocery store. Came home and than it was non-stop for the rest of the day. Besides closing the pool, I brought in all the plants. Put things away in the tubs, just basically getting the backyard ready for the winter.

I have another busy day tomorrow also. One thing I have to do is go to a monthly support meeting. They want us to bring healthy food. Stuff that we would never try on our own. Like maybe Boca Burgers. That way we can all try and see if we like it. I think it's a neat idea. That way we can try things before we buy it.

Kat, sorry to hear about DS. Hope he's ok. Probably sore I bet.

Janie, :seeya:

Morning Ladies.

I'm up and showered and getting ready to head to the grocery store. I need to figure out a healthy snack to take to the support group meeting. And I need to talk to them about scheduling a meeting during a football game. lol.

I hope everyone has a great day. I will check in every now and than, but I will be on tonight.

Make good choices.

Hello everyone

Hi Suzanne - I wish I could go to a support group, but since I have someone there who might just kill me, I can't go :seeya:

I worked on that chart so hard last night and can't figure out how to attach it so it looks pretty. How frustrating, but I am going to work on the shared document later and see if that will work, but I'll post something.

Does everyone have gmail? if so I can re-do it there, it just won't look as pretty...

well off to shower, I want to go to the gym today

If you know how to use Google docs, it would work nicely there. They have used it in a few of the weight challenges before. The Thanksgiving Day challenge is using it now. I don't know how to create them, or I would do it for you.:seeya:

Or, we could do it like we did last year, and just type and update our info the copy/paste/edit way that the old challenges used.

Thanks

I will try google docs...

Jenn, my start weight was 221. Do we need to update you periodically to get it changed, maybe on a certain day, or would you rather us just report back on Halloween?

Hi

ok I did a little editing and cleaning up. I might add some colums but I am going to weigh in on Friday mornings to keep me focused.

I've been trying to go through post to find everyones starting point
