Newbie from VA and Approved

Hello Everyone. I am a newbie from Virginia. So far I have attended the seminar, had my first consult, psych and nutrition visit. On Friday September 4, 2009 received a congratulations call from my case manager at United Health care saying that I’ve met all the requirements by my insurance company:thumbup: to proceed with surgery and now I just need to set a surgery date.

I’m so excited and a little nervous at the same time.

I will be reading all your posts for support and answers.

Hi Neighbor!! I live in Loudoun County, not too far from you.

I had my Lapband in Feb 2009, at Winchester Hospital. My highest weight was 294, pre surgery I was 269 and as of today I'm 205. 45 lbs to go!!!!

Good luck! Follow your doctors instructions and it will work!
