Hello Everyone, I made it thru all went well.. stayed an extra night came home today. Having a little pain in my throat from the tube but other than that all else is well. Walking really does help...

:wink2: My surgery is scheduled for today at 10:50AM, I'm so excited and nervous. I know this is the right decision and I'm ready to start my new journey to a healthier lifestyle. Hope to share my experience later this weekend....:redface:

Congratulations on your big day, I wish you the best on your new journey. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, please keep us posted. My day is Thursday and I can only imagine how you’re feeling tonight as I will experience that on Wednesday night.

I'm having my surgery on Thursday October 8th at 10:50 AM will stay overnight and I'm so excited and nervous at the same. 7 day liquid diet has been a struggle since I'm on travel for work but have managed to maintain and follow Dr's orders. Good luck and best wishes on your new journey:)

My surgery is the same day, Thursday October 8th at 10:50 am and I too have been on the liquid diet for 7 days. I'm having a lot of the same emotions right now as the day gets closer. Wish you both well on your new journey and let's make sure we share our experiences afterwards.

Hello Everyone. I am a newbie from Virginia. So far I have attended the seminar, had my first consult, psych and nutrition visit. On Friday September 4, 2009 received a congratulations call from my case manager at United Health care saying that I’ve met all the requirements by my insurance company:thumbup: to proceed with surgery and now I just need to set a surgery date. I’m so excited and a little nervous at the same time. :blush: I will be reading all your posts for support and answers.
