How soon until you could feel your port?

Hi all I am 9 days post-op and I bent down to grab something when I got up I felt something weird @ my incesion I actually felt my port. Is this normal this soon? It dosent hurt just feels strange,I'm just hoping I didn't do something to it.

you probrably didnt do anything to it. Keep in mind that you have a foreign object in you now and it might take a little getting used to.

You will always be able to feel your port. I have the A/P lapband and the port is a little higher than the Realize. I like that because it is so easy for my surgeon to find for the fills.

hey guys,did any of you start the mushie stage before the end of the 3 weeks? I am so friggin' tempted I have a week to go and I am thinking about cottage cheese at first then maybe and egg a day, also my protein shake powder is almost finished and my new order has not come in yet,oh what to do?? any suggestions would help,thanks!!

I was obsessed with the port. It freaked me out that you could actually feel it. I think part of it was because I was so swollen in the beginning. Now the only time I can feel it from the outside is after I eat. I've pretty much forgotten that it is there.
